A survey by Stackla Report found that an overwhelming majority of customers (86%) feel that authenticity is an important factor when deciding what brands to support (this figure was even higher among millennials). Consumers are becoming increasingly distrustful of advertising and marketing and so authentic content generated by fellow customers (particularly in the form of product reviews) is steadily gaining in importance. It's therefore essential to motivate your customers to share their experiences: the Stackla survey also found that consumers are THREE TIMES more likely to say that "content created by a consumer is authentic compared to content created by a brand.
Around one-third of the 3.5bn daily Google searches are conducted using voice recognition, with personal assistant devices such as Google Assistant, Cortana, Amazon's Alexa and Apple's Siri. A voice search differs from a typical mobile or desktop search as it generally yields a much smaller number of results; to make sure your website is one of those and dramatically improve CTR, your SEO needs to be tailored to voice searches. By 2020, according to a ComScore estimate, a full 50% of search queries will be voice-based.
Currently, the most widely-implemented form of AI is the chatbot, which can help brands to improve their levels of customer service without straining the budget. A chatbot is usually quicker than a human at providing data-related answers and processing requests. They are also ideal for gathering user information that can then be used to tailor marketing strategies and make them more successful.
